Terms of service
The short version: Janus is in early access, we take your data seriously, you can leave whenever you like and take it with you.
1. The service
Janus provides visitor-management software: kiosk and QR sign-in, host notifications, compliance workflows, evacuation roll calls and reporting. You get a workspace; what you collect from your visitors inside it is your call and your responsibility.
2. Early access
Janus is young. Features will change and occasionally something will wobble. In exchange, early customers pay nothing during early access; pricing is to be confirmed, early customers hear it first, and we will always tell you before anything starts costing money.
3. Your responsibilities
Tell your visitors the truth about what you collect and why. Use the watchlist and screening features lawfully. Do not use Janus to collect information you have no business collecting.
4. Your data
It is yours. Export it whenever you like; if you close your workspace, ask and we will provide your records in a portable format before deletion. See the privacy policy for the details of how it is held.
5. Liability, plainly
Janus supports your evacuation procedures; it does not replace them. A roll call is only as good as the sign-ins behind it, and no software substitutes for wardens doing a physical sweep. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
